As well as completing my first Prose Workshop module, I've completed Poetics of Place, in which I developed my academic understanding and approach to writing place and ecopoetry.
I am currently enrolled on The Art of Short Fiction; I will develop my short story collection during this module.

Ed and Sara were six months from their PhD thesis submission deadlines when the pandemic started. Ed follows an impulse to lock down in London with his long-distance girlfriend, Sofia, whilst Sara stays in her studio apartment in Norwich, cut off from the labs and people she desperately needs. A string of messages is all that tethers them to each other in this stark new world. Will they submit their theses in time, or will they submit to the disruptive forces at work in the year 2020?
This novel in progress could appeal to readers of Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney, Moth Smoke by Mohsin Hamid and Stoner by John Williams.

In my Substack newsletter, I discuss quotes/extracts from literary works and publish essays on topics such as my creative journey, science, academia, lifestyle, spirituality and more. I also share original art.
This has been a freeing space for me to share ideas, thoughts and reflections. In the future, I also hope to use the newsletter to connect with readers of my original work as well as listeners of my audiobooks, providing insights to my process and literary/academic inspirations.
